Plasmatique is the melodic techno project of Slovak producer Zuzana Retkesova, known for her progressive melodic techno productions. She now publishes Inconsolable, on the Luft&Liebe label, a mesmerizing track, which leads us gently with arpeggiated baselines, which are key elements in Plasmatique's sound.

The result is a work of contrasts, which culminates in a twilight piece, capable of suspending us serenely in the void, based on subtle soft and vaporous melodies. Inconsolable demonstrates the particular way of understanding Plasmatique's sound, located at the opposite end of what is commercial, what is generic, what works: what it does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and flashes, of melodic lines and diffuse textures, pursuing a serene, spiritual, almost ascetic expression.

Inconsolable can and should be listened to as a portion of timeless music, which transmits a positive idea in times of conflict, and its aesthetic appeals to the most basic, deep and receptive of the spirit. Plasmatique, in short, designs a wide and fragile sound to listen and feel from the depths.
